First with a fully engineered system
In 1988, after developing a design concept into the safest, most dependable equipment for interim storage of used oil, Myers introduced its first WOSS (Waste Oil Storage System). The basic principle was an integrated primary and secondary tank system – engineered not only to provide fail-safe storage and containment – but also to lower operating costs with design features that added to longevity and ease of use. Myers first product line helped set the standards now enforced by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada. Subsequently, the Myers WOSS received a joint UL-ULC listing which complies with all North American regulations pertaining to engineering and manufacturing quality, and for fire safety and environmental standards.
